Part Architectural Assistant

MOR Architects is a design-led practice based in Cookstown with a diverse and growing portfolio. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional design quality across a variety of sectors, ranging from bespoke high-end residential schemes to commercial projects and dynamic office fit-outs.

We are currently seeking a talented and ambitious Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual looking to gain comprehensive exposure to the industry within a supportive, high-output environment.

• Direct Mentorship:
  One-on-one guidance from senior staff to support your professional growth.
• Project Diversity:
  Exposure to all RIBA Work Stages, ensuring your logbook requirements are met.
• Case Study Support:
  Assignment to suitable projects to ensure you have the necessary complexity and contract administration experience for your Part 3 submission.

• Assisting with the design and delivery of projects from Concept through to Completion.
• Producing high-quality 3D visualizations using Twinmotion.
• Developing technical drawing packages and detailing for residential and commercial projects.
• Liaising with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong design eye, technical curiosity, and the ability to work across different project scales.

• RIBA Part 2 qualified (or equivalent).
• Previous practice experience (Part 1 year out) is essential.
• Strong understanding of Building Regulations and planning standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Essential:
  Proficiency in Archi
  
  CAD or Revit.
• Visualization:
  Experience using Twinmotion for rendering and presentations.
