This role is advertised as part of the BBC Extend programme, a special scheme for people who are deaf, disabled or neurodivergent. Applicants should identify as disabled under either the Equality Act (2010) or the Disability Discrimination Act (1995) and meet the definitions that apply to the chosen jurisdiction. The definition covers both apparent and non‑apparent conditions, including medical conditions such as cancer, HIV or multiple sclerosis.

- Prepare live and pre‑recorded programmes in studio and on location.

Eligibility Criteria- Be 18 years old or older when the apprenticeship starts in September 2026.
- Have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years.
- Be legally eligible to work full‑time in the UK for the entire apprenticeship period.
- Not currently enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.
- No prior learning required to apply.
- Identify as disabled under the Equality Act (2010).
