CIVIL SITE MANAGER - CARDIFF (132kV Substation)

We are hiring a Civil Site Manager to lead the full civil build-out of a 132kV HV substation supporting a large Solar & BESS connection scheme. This project has not yet started construction — ideal for someone who enjoys establishing a site from day one. Designs have been completed, and you will be responsible for delivering the full civils package through to energisation.

• Lead civil engineering works for the complete substation build
• Manage site operations, subcontractors, QA, H&S, and progress reporting
• Coordinate with ICP teams, private connection interfaces, and non‑contestable works
• Maintain control of delivery timelines and site productivity

• Civils background on 132kV (or similar) HV substation projects
• Strong site leadership and construction management capability
• Experience with ICPs/DNOs or HV contractors

• £400-£500 per day
• Long-term contract (potential for 2 years work)
