Estimator – Interior Fit-Out (UK Wide Projects)

Our client is a growing and ambitious interior fit-out company based in Cardiff, delivering high-quality commercial interior solutions across the UK. Due to continued growth in the SOuth Wales region, they are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join their team.

The Role
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for interior fit-out projects nationwide. You will work closely with the commercial, design, and project delivery teams to ensure smooth project transition from tender stage through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions

* Review drawings, specifications, and scope documentation

* Complete take-offs and produce accurate cost breakdowns

* Obtain and analyse quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

* Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities

* Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings where required

* Support the commercial team during negotiations

* Maintain strong working relationships with clients and suppliers

Requirements

* Proven experience as an Estimator within interior fit-out, refurbishment, or construction

* Strong knowledge of materials, labour costs, and current market rates

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

* High level of numerical accuracy and commercial awareness

* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* Full UK driving licence
