Associate HV Electrical Project Manager – Data Centres (Nordics)

Arcadis is the world’s leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. We’re looking for an experienced High Voltage (HV) Electrical remont manager to join our rapidly growing team in the data‑centre sector.

Role description

You will play a key role in delivering one of our biggest data‑centre construction projects. The role may be based in the country or require significant international travel to Finland.

Role accountabilities

Manage the HV electrical packages of hyperscale data‑centre construction projects, taking projects through pre‑construction, construction, and close‑out/fit‑up.

Pre‑construction

• Work with the client and general contractor to create and establish the Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget
• Support contractor pre‑qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations
• Support contract negotiations
• Assist the client and their team in identifying, scoping, buying‑out and scheduling all owner‑direct vendors and consultants

ullconstruction

• Manage the general contractor and other directly contracted vendors on the ground
• Coordinate value‑engineering efforts during construction
• Work with the client’s commercial and PCG team to develop budget management and tracking
• liaise with the client’s schedule management team to provide schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis

Close‑out / Fit‑up

• Initiate close‑out process prior to project completion (typically 2‑3 months in advance)
• Establish close‑out documentation requirements with the client’s document controller; collect and track receipt of all close‑out documents until completion, including warranties, as‑build and O&M manuals
• Assist with city and other authority final inspections and occupancy process
• Assist the client in scheduling, coordination and management of all owner‑direct vendors and consultants

Qualifications & Experience

• In-depth understanding of large‑scale technical projects and construction techniques
• Experience delivering HV packages
• Ability to manage technical disciplines
• Experience on data‑centre new‑build and refurbishment projects, preferably on hyperscale builds
• Ability to commit to significant international travel
• Familiar with local legislation (Finland)
