Estimator, Construction, Building & Residential Construction

Bridgestone Group is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our client based in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating project costs and preparing accurate costs and tenders for construction projects.

• Analyse project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work
• Accurate measurement using CAD & manual measures
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and submit proposals to clients
• Monitor project progress and costs to ensure they align with estimates
• Conduct cost control activities throughout project life-cycle
• Produce estimating handover information for the construction team

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent numerical abilities and proficiency in using estimating software
• Good communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, and suppliers
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
