Cleaning Supervisor

Salary: £13.85/ hour

Hours: 8 hours/ day

Shift Pattern: 6am to 2pm, 4on / 2off

Contract: Permanent

• Supervise/operate specific equipment and cleaning practices in a warehouse environment as part of the cleaning and waste team.
• Carry out daily and weekly checks of all machinery, report faults to the Site Manager, and ensure Health & Safety is understood and adhered to.
• Liaise with the Site Manager in shift operation and monitor waste using weekly checklists and monitoring procedures.
• Review equipment to ensure it is kept clean and secured when not in use; undertake cleaning and ad-hoc duties as needed.
• Deal with customer complaints and attend appropriate training sessions.
• Ensure awareness of Company/Client statutory fire and safety regulations.

• Previous supervisor experience
• Good customer focus and service skills
• Ability to prioritise workload and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work from own initiative and good awareness of Health and Safety legislation
• Communicative English is essential; an English language assessment may be required

You will be required to complete the Basic Disclosure (DBS Check) and undertake a drug and alcohol screening test.
