Overview
Our client is actively looking for a Motor Vehicle Fitter Fleet to start in their Vehicle Maintenance Workshop, playing a key role in keeping things moving. They maintain and service a wide variety of vehicles and machinery from electric vehicles to heavy-duty trucks. The workshop handles everything from routine maintenance to complex repairs for the fleet, which includes cars, light and heavy goods vehicles, plant machinery, and ground maintenance equipment.
ResponsibilitiesThe workshop handles maintenance and repairs for a fleet of vehicles and machinery, including cars, light and heavy goods vehicles, plant machinery, and ground maintenance equipment. The role involves ensuring vehicles are serviced and prepared to the required standards to keep operations moving.
Qualifications- NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds Motor Vehicle Craft Studies Part 1, 2 and 3 or equivalent.
- Experience in the operations and working practices of a vehicle repair workshop.
- Experience of the essential requirements in the preparation of vehicles for MOT Test.
- Experience in vehicle inspection to meet the standards set by DVSA
- Skilled in disciplines of the repair of light and heavy goods vehicles.
- Holder for a valid VOSA MOT testers certificate or the capability to attain a certificate.
- Commitment to undertake further training for professional development and enhance knowledge of ultra:low emission vehicle (ULEV) technologies
- Full Driving Licence with a minimum of B Group
37 hours per week
Shift PatternMon :
Thurs: 6.30am :
2.30pm or 2pm to 10pm;
Fri: 6.30am : 2.00pm or 2pm : 9.30pm
