Overview
The successful candidate will join our growing audit team in Cardiff. Reporting directly to an audit Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the progress of audit assignments from planning through to completion. You will also be reviewing the work of junior colleagues as well as coaching and supporting them in their development. Our audit engagements may take place remotely or on client sites, so you will utilise a range of technological solutions in addition to your people skills to deliver a quality service, on time and on budget, working in collaboration with the wider audit team to delight our clients.
Are you a qualified accountant or studying towards ACA, ACCA or CA with recent experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice? We are looking for someone with expertise in leading external audit assignments from planning to completion under International Standards on Auditing and preparing accounts in accordance with UK GAAP or IFRS.

Responsibilities- Supervise the progress of audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Review the work of junior colleagues and coach them in their development.
- Deliver a quality service on time and on budget, using technological solutions as required.
- Collaborate with the wider audit team to delight our clients.
- Qualified accountant or currently studying towards ACA, ACCA or CA.
- Recent experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice.
- Expertise in leading external audit assignments under International Standards on Auditing.
- Experience preparing accounts in accordance with UK GAAP or IFRS.
- Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with senior staff and clients.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel.
