We re looking for an experienced Senior Accountant / Client manager who is confident leading client relationships, thrives on delivering high-quality work, and enjoys being part of a supportive, close-knit team. You ll have the freedom to manage your own portfolio of loyal SME and owner-managed business clients while benefiting from the backing of a collaborative team and a positive workplace culture.

As a key member of the team, you ll play a hands-on role in client service and team development:

• Managing a portfolio of limited company and SME clients across varied sectors

• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts, and financial statements

• Completing corporate and personal tax returns and advising clients on tax planning opportunities

• Overseeing bookkeeping, VAT returns, and cloud-based reporting (primarily Xero)

• Providing proactive business advice and becoming a trusted advisor to clients

• Supporting, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior staff members to ensure accuracy and growth

• Building long-lasting client relationships through exceptional service and clear communication

You ll fit right in if you:

• Have a solid background in general practice (ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent experience)

• Are confident managing a client portfolio with minimal supervision

• Have experience preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns to a high standard

• Are commercially aware and enjoy adding value through client advice

• Can balance technical accuracy with a personable, approachable style

• Are proactive, organised, and enjoy being part of a collaborative team
