Travel RN - Med Surg(Nights)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced RN
- Med Surg for a 13-week travel assignment in Carbondale , IL.

Assignment:

• Nights | 3 x 12 | 36 hrs/week GTD
• Start Date:

• EMR: EPIC
• Nursing ratio is 5:1 on days and 5-6:1 on nights
• Location:
  
  Carbondale, IL 62901

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
• Provides explanations and instructions to the patient/responsible person.
• Demonstrate ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
• Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills.
• Meets Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records.

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
• Pay package details provided upon offer

• Must be proficient in moderate sedation,
• Must have a current CPR/BLS &
  NIHSS
• Must have a current , Illinois Registered Nurse license
• 2+ years Med Surg RN experience preferred
• Must have recent travel experience
• Stroke Certification required(RNs who are stroke certified, able to do three 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday.)
• Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
• The current onboarding process includes one 8-hour day to complete modules, policies, and required tasks, followed by up to two 12-hour orientation shifts on the floor.
• Candidates must be able to hit the ground running.

Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):

• Drug screen and background check (facility required)
• Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
