Responsibilities

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Nurse based in Carbondale, IL. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, assess and monitor patient needs, and implement evidence-based nursing practices. Responsibilities include administering medications, educating patients and families about treatment plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and adhering to the highest safety and quality standards. The RN will also participate in patient care planning and ensure continuity of care and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in patient assessment, care planning, and medication administration
  • Strong skills in communication, patient education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of clinical practices, safety regulations, and compliance with healthcare standards
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required;
    Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred
  • Experience in acute care, cardiac, or oncology settings is a plus
  • Ability to provide compassionate and culturally competent care
