Ultrasound Technologist – 13-Week Contract
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment starting ASAP . This opportunity offers a consistent schedule with limited on-call requirements.
Assignment Details
- Position: Ultrasound Technologist
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- 4 shifts of 8 hours
- 1 shift of 9 hours
- On-Call: Yes
- On-call requirement: Every third Monday night, 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM at MHC
Schedule
- Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Herrin)
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Herrin)
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging
- Maintain proper documentation and image quality standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and comply with departmental policies
Requirements
- Active Ultrasound Technologist certification (ARDMS or equivalent)
- Relevant clinical experience required
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
