SIH's Brain and Spine Institute is a busy practice seeking to hire a dedicated Interventional Pain Physician. You will work in a collegial atmosphere with physicians who are passionate about patient care. This opportunity is interventional, with the work week divided between procedural and clinic days. This position will allow you to enjoy a better work and life balance. This service line has 2 Nurse practitioners.

Education/Training

Completion of an ACGME accredited Residency training program in anesthesiology, psychiatry
and neurology or physical medicine and rehabilitation.
AND
Completion of an ACGME accredited Fellowship training program in Pain Medicine of at least
twelve months duration.
OR
In lieu of formal Pain Management training, physicians completing these residencies should have
spent at least the last two years practicing pain management.
Certification Current certification in Pain Medicine by the applicable ABMS board. Board certification must be
achieved within five years of being admissible to take the exam.
Clinical Experience (Initial) Applicant must provide documentation of provision of pain medicine services (50 cases)
representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous year
(waived for applicants who completed training during the previous year)
