Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) – T2795

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $19.25 USD per hour

Target is looking for team members who help guests discover the joy of everyday life and deliver memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and engage with guests to solve their needs.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and in your area, to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Explain current promotions, store activities, and events, and guide guests to use Target Wallet, Target App features (Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, online ordering) and related services.
• Promote and enroll guests in Target Loyalty programs when appropriate.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards; minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy.
• Handle returns following store policies and escalate to leadership as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area; stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests.
• Maintain safety, ethical conduct, and compliance with policies; report hazards and participate in safety training.
• Support guest services such as order pick-up, drive-up orders, and related returns, including compliance with applicable laws and policies.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• Capable of handling checkout operations, transactions, and basic cash office activities as needed.

• Frequent lifting/movement of merchandise up to 10 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 44 pounds with assistance.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance required.
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift and work in varying temperatures and conditions as needed for duties like Drive-Up or carryout.
