Roll Group owns a versatile heavy transport seagoing fleet consisting of dock-type vessels, which all have the option of three loading modes - Ro‑Ro, Flo‑Flo and Lo‑Lo, and deck carriers. On the land side Roll Group operates globally a large number of modern heavy lift cranes with capacity up to 4000 tonnes, Self‑Propelled Modular Trailers (SPMT’s) and Conventional Trailers. The specific characteristics of Roll Group’s asset base ensures the ability to serve a wide range of markets, such as:
Oil & Gas and Renewable energies.

Position
As Global Head of Project Management, you ensure that our projects are executed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You bring together project teams across regions and disciplines, align with Commercial, QHSSE, Operations, and Engineering, and act as a senior point of contact for key clients. This role is about leading people, managing risks, and ensuring the successful delivery of our projects worldwide.

Your responsibilities include:

Lead the global execution of land and sea projects, ensuring safety, quality, contractual compliance and profitability.

Maintain a clear and structured approach to project planning, execution, monitoring and closure.

Define, track and report project KPIs (safety, budget, timeline, quality, client satisfaction).

Oversee project budgeting, forecasting and cost tracking together with relevant departments.

Review and approve key project deliverables and execution strategies.

Ensure smooth and professional handovers between Commercial and Operations, and provide input during tender and pre‑bid phases.

Act as senior client interface, managing escalations and building long‑term trust.

Oversee risk management processes, including scope control and mitigation planning.

Lead and develop the global Project Management organization, fostering a high‑performance and collaborative culture.

Work closely with regional management teams to align ways of working and develop talent across countries and disciplines.

Your qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.

Additional certifications such as IPMA (C/B), PMP or Lean Six Sigma are a strong advantage.

7–10 years of senior international project management experience, ideally in an EPC and/or engineered heavy lift & transportation/shipping environment.

Proven success in leading complex, multimillion‑dollar projects with high technical demands.

Strong leadership skills with experience in managing multicultural teams in a matrix organization.

Analytical and solution‑oriented, with a focus on operational efficiency, risk management and client satisfaction.

Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Our selection process
