ResponsibilitiesJob Overview: Drives forklifts to transport products and equipment. The Forklift Driver transport picked finished goods from the warehouse to the transport vehicles. Transportation of finished goods between manufacturing facility and the warehouse.
Loading of trucksTransport stock to warehouseTransport to overflow warehouseScanning of stock from 003 into the correct locationPut- away of stock once transported to overflow warehouseCompleting vehicle checklists before loading trucksTransport product waste to waste area for disposalEnsure daily pre-op checks are completedReport any damages to equipment to Line Manger on dutyEnsure forklifts are placed on charge when not in useAdhere to company safety standards when operating a forkliftEnsure that you have a valid forklift license at all timesComplete near miss reports as part of the safety and awareness culture to minimize risks and alleviate the number of recordable incidents occurring in the warehousePerform all other duties as may be instructed by the Line Manager/SupervisorQualificationsMinimum qualification is Grade 12A Valid Forklift license (Code applicable to Double Handler)Must pass a Medical AssessmentTwo-years’ experience as a Forklift Driver“Pepsi Co is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
