Transport Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our employee transportation services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing transportation operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance while delivering a seamless commuting experience for employees. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to maintain a reliable and cost-effective transportation system.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in transportation or logistics management, preferably in employee transport or shuttle services.
• Strong understanding of fleet management, route planning, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in transportation management software and tracking tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transportation Management: Develop and implement transportation plans and schedules to align with employee commuting needs, shift patterns, and capacity requirements.
• Fleet Coordination: Oversee vehicle operations, ensuring timely maintenance, inspections, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Route Optimization: Utilize data-driven strategies to improve routes, reduce travel time, and enhance efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to transportation laws and industry best practices through regular audits and training programs.
• Customer Service: Address employee transportation concerns, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and implementing service improvements.

Budget Management: Monitor and manage transportation expenses, optimizing costs while maintaining service quality.
