Senior Full-Stack Shopify Developer

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Shopify Developer (Backend-Focused) to lead the architecture, development, and optimization of complex Shopify ecosystems for our international client.

This is a hands‑on senior engineering role. You will work across custom Shopify apps, advanced theme builds, backend integrations, and performance optimization initiatives. You will contribute to architectural direction, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor other developers to ensure consistent technical excellence.

• Technical Delivery
• Architect, build, and optimize Shopify Plus and Advanced Shopify solutions.
• Develop custom Shopify apps using Node.js (Remix, Polaris, React).
• Implement advanced Liquid-based theme customizations.
• Build and manage Graph
  
  QL and REST API integrations (ERP, CRM, payments, logistics).
• Troubleshoot complex backend and integration challenges.
• Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and security best practices.
• Manage source control and deployment workflows using Git and CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions or similar).
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards.
• Project & Engineering Collaboration
• Work closely with Product, UX/UI, Data, and Client stakeholders.
• Contribute to solution design and technical scoping.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery across multiple client projects.
• Guide release cycles from development to production environments.
• Provide technical leadership within cross‑functional squads.
• Support & Continuous Improvement
• Resolve high‑priority technical escalations.
• Maintain platform stability and backend resilience.
• Mentor mid‑level developers and contribute to team capability growth.
• Continuously evaluate emerging Shopify and commerce technologies.

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of full‑stack development experience.
• Proven senior‑level Shopify development expertise.

• Strong backend architecture and API integration experience.
• Experience working in agile, client‑facing delivery environments.
