Overview
Our client in the Geospacial (GIS) Industry is searching for an experienced Technical / Team Lead to join their team on a remote basis.
You will work with upper management to define software requirements and take the lead on operational and technical projects. In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills. If you also have hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities
Develop high-quality software design and architectureIdentify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycleDevelop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient codeAutomate tasks through appropriate tools and scriptingReview and debug codePerform validation and verification testingCollaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve productsDocument development phases and monitor systemsEnsure software is up-to-date with latest technologiesRequirements:
BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant fieldMinimum 6+ years of software engineering experienceAdvanced knowledge of SDLC (software design lifecycle Python Java Script HTML5 and CSS3

RDBMS back-endGit version control
UI / UX / design0Advantageous:

SQL RDBMS with PostGISGeographic Information Systems
