Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain software systems that support OMIG’s investment processes and strategies. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, secure and high-performing solutions.

This role is well suited to an experienced engineer who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in an Agile environment and takes pride in building systems that others rely on.

What You’ll Be Trusted With

Design, develop, and maintain software systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Ensure the performance and security of our software.

Participate in Agile development process including Scrum meetings, sprint planning and retrospectives

Stay up to date with the latest development technologies and bring new ideas and approaches to the team.

Who you are

You are a technically strong, curious, and dependable engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and solving meaningful problems. You balance independent thinking with teamwork and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You bring:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (mandatory).

Strong programming skills in C# and experience with SQL.

Experience in developing software in an Agile environment.

Strong understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, testing, and code reviews.

Familiarity with asset management, investment management or similar industry is a plus.
