AWS Full Stack Developer

Hybrid / Remote (Cape Town or Surrounds)

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with a strong background in building applications on the AWS platform. While our current technology stack is predominantly Salesforce-based, we are increasingly focusing on AWS for the development of new applications, including collaborations with an AWS partner. We are now looking to build AWS development capability in-house. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in development of high-performance applications and managing the AWS infrastructure.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience
• AWS Expertise: Intermediate to expert-level proficiency in working with the AWS platform, including hands-on experience managing and integrating services such as EC2, RDS, SNS, Aurora, Cognito, Cloud Front, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Infrastructure Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for overseeing and managing AWS infrastructure.
• CI/CD
  
  Experience:
  
  Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines within AWS environments.
• Frontend Proficiency: Proven experience with at least one of the following frameworks:
  Angular, React, or Next.js with the ability and willingness to quickly learn and adapt to other related frameworks as needed.

  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in working with AWS-managed databases such as Amazon RDS, Dynamo
  
  DB (No
  
  SQL), Aurora.
• Serverless Architecture Expertise
  :
  Proficiency in designing, building, and managing serverless applications using AWS services such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo
  
  DB, and Step Functions
• Salesforce Expertise: Knowledge or hands-on experience with Salesforce.
• Word Press
  
  Experience:
  
  Knowledge or hands-on experience with Word Press.

  Certifications:
  
  Relevant AWS certifications that demonstrate your expertise.
• Dev Ops Mindset
  :
  Familiarity with Dev Ops practices, including monitoring, logging, and infrastructure as code.
• Software Architecture: Experience with designing and implementing scalable software.
• Agile: Knowledge or experience in agile development methodologies
