Position: Electrician – Food Manufacturing – R600K – R500K

Overview

Hire Resolve’s client in the Food Manufacturing is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Electrician to join their team in the Western Cape.

Responsibilities:

  • To do electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical work, including schedule activities, installations and fault finding on equipment, buildings and systems. Including project work.
  • All installation work done to comply with SANS 10142 Parts 1& 2.
  • Ensure optimal plant performance, so as to achieve OEE targets.
  • Duties include but will not be limited to
  • Safety Checks
  • Circuit and system measure and analysis.
  • Control system design and construction
  • Faultfinding on electrical and electro-mechanical systems
  • Servicing of equipment
  • Wiring for power and control circuits
  • Waterproofing of electrical equipment
  • Wiring of premises
  • Breakdown repairs
  • Detailed feedback on work done, failures, materials used, time used
  • System improvement plans & recommendations

    • Requirements:

  • Qualified Electrician and at least N5 certificate
  • Experience working in FMCG plants with refrigeration equipment as well.
  • Experience working with electronic grading systems
  • Experience working on refrigeration plant and equipment control systems
  • PLC programming experience
  • Candidates should have own transport.
  • Experience in HT switching would be advantageous.
  • Root cause analysis (5 Why’s
  • Structured problem solving
  • Experience with Variable speed drives.
  • Team work
  • Good communicator
