Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Service Technician position based in Cape Town. The Service Technician will perform routine maintenance and repairs on lift systems, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and respond to field service calls. The role includes ensuring compliance with safety standards, documenting service activities, and delivering exceptional customer service to clients while maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair of mechanical and electrical systems for lift and mobility equipment
- Strong Troubleshooting skills with a focus on identifying and resolving technical issues effectively
- Experience in Field Service operations, including the ability to work independently and on-site at client locations
- Exceptional Customer Service skills, with an ability to communicate professionally and provide support to clients
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards (e.g., SANS, EN) and a commitment to safe work practices
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Relevant technical qualification or certification in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred
- Previous experience in the lift or mobility equipment industry is a plus
