Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical fitting, installations, and site work
• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment
• Conduct fault-finding, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving
• Ensure work is completed to required quality and safety standards
• Work closely with project teams to meet deadlines and operational requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 1 year working experience in site work and/or mechanical installations
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Ability to understand mechanical systems and how they operate
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on, practical approach with attention to detail
• No age restriction

Reporting Line
Reports to the Project Manager or Technical Foreman, depending on the project.

Working Hours

• Monday – Thursday: 07:45 – 16:45
• Friday: 08:00 – 15:00

Remuneration

• Salary range: R15,000 – R20,000 per month
• Higher offers up to R25,000 may be considered for suitably qualified and competent candidates
• Current salary may be matched, depending on experience and skill level

Benefits

• 3% of basic salary contributed towards a retirement annuity
• 13th cheque, subject to management discretion

Annual Shutdown
Company closes for 10 working days over the Christmas period, typically from 15 December
