Job requirements
:

Minimum of 4 years working experience in a similar environment or product range.

Must have a Matric Certificate.

Must demonstrated the ability to be a keen learner with a “make it happen attitude”.

Must be fast learner and must be able to work both independently and within a team environment.

Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.

Have valid driver’s license.

EXPERIENCE on SPEED QUEEN HOME/COMMERCIAL APPLIANCES will be an added advantage.

Job responsibilities:

The Technician will be required to repair and service Domestic home appliances (washers & dryers), and commercial laundry equipment (washers, dryers & handheld irons) distributed by COMPANY. The product range consist of Top loader washing machines, Front loader washing machines, Tumble driers, Handheld Irons. Most of the repairs will be carried out on Speed Queen branded domestic and commercial laundry appliances as well as handheld irons.

Technician is required to troubleshoot and carry out repairs on washers, driers typically found in home environments and/or launderette.

Technician must be familiar with the dismantling, reassembling processes and fault diagnosis to provide accurate report and repair estimation.

Technician must be able to identify and replace any defective components found in the above-mentioned appliances.

Technician must keep accurate records of their time spent on each task, provide detailed job sheets and manage their spares inventory accurately.

Specific Requirements/Additional information

Working hours 7h30 to 16h30 Monday to Friday. (45 hrs. a week) It might be necessary to work overtime from time to time.
