Our client, a well-established refrigeration company based in Kuils River
, is seeking a qualified and experienced Refrigeration Technician to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis
. This role is within the commercial and industrial refrigeration and air-conditioning industry and is suited to a hands-on technician with strong fault-finding and maintenance experience.

• Minimum 5 years’ practical experience in the refrigeration industry
• Proven experience in commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
• Experience working with:
  • High back refrigeration units
  • Multiplex systems
  • Cold rooms and freezer rooms
  • Chiller units
  • Air-conditioning systems
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to perform standby duties
• Sober habits and excellent health
• Professional, reliable, and positive work ethic

• Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
• Fault-finding and breakdown diagnostics on refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment
• Maintenance of cold rooms, freezer rooms, chillers, multiplex systems, and high back units
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Attending standby calls and responding to breakdowns when required
  
  Maintaining accurate job and service records
• Providing professional service to clients on-site
