To provide electrical services and perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements on all relevant systems, infrastructure, and equipment in the locality.

• Perform technical jobs within the locality
• Perform administration duties within the technical function
• Identify and mitigate technical risks within the locality
• Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the locality
• Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

NQF level 4 Electrical qualification with compulsory subjects:

Mathematics, Science or Industrial Electronics, Electro-technology or equivalent and Trade test certification:
Electrical (3-phase) with Wireman's licence (Installation Electrician 3-phase) or equivalent Namibian registration (when applicable)

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

If registered Installation Electrician 3-phase: more than 5 years’ experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

More than 3 years’ of Mediclinic electrical experience

• Maintenance and repair of electrical systems
• Test equipment and devices
• Heating and air conditioning systems
• Fault finding and troubleshooting
• Electrical regulations and guides
• Alarm Panels, IT Networks & Communication Systems
• Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (e.g. OHS and ISO)
• Knowledge of Planned Maintenance Systems
• Mentoring of technical team members
