About the Opportunity:
Crew Life At Sea is currently recruiting Hotel Fitters on behalf of one of our cruise line partners. This hands-on technical role is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of interior furnishings and shipboard structures in guest and crew areas. From installing cabinetry and hardware to repairing furniture and decorative fixtures, Hotel Fitters play a critical role in ensuring a safe, functional, and visually appealing onboard environment.
All candidates placed through Crew Life At Sea are hired directly by the cruise line and are never charged recruitment or placement fees.
Role Responsibilities:- Perform repairs and installations on woodwork, furniture, wall panels, and structural interior fittings
- Repair and replace hardware, fixtures, doors, and cabinetry across cabins, lounges, and public areas
- Conduct maintenance work using carpentry tools, adhesives, fasteners, and ship-approved materials
- Assist in the setup or modification of interior spaces as required by hotel operations
- Carry out cosmetic and structural refurbishments as directed
- Work collaboratively with the Hotel Maintenance and Housekeeping teams to address ongoing maintenance needs
- Support the Deck Team during emergency procedures if required
- Maintain compliance with onboard health, environmental, safety, and security protocols (HESS)
- Keep a clean and orderly workspace and ensure proper storage and handling of tools and supplies
- Monthly salary paid in USD

- Full support during onboarding and travel arrangements
- Experience as a carpenter, joiner, shipboard fitter, or similar hands-on interior technician
- Strong knowledge of wood materials, hand and power tools, and repair techniques
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and work from design specs
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Organized and safety-conscious work ethic
- English language proficiency at A2 level or higher (CEFR scale)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced marine environment
