Overview

Position: 3rd Electrician

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, including generators, motors, and control systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and implement solutions in a timely manner
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
• Monitor and maintain the vessel's electrical systems, ensuring they are functioning properly and safely
• Assist with the installation of new electrical equipment and systems
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working with electrical equipment
• Collaborate with other crew members and departments to ensure the smooth operation of the vessel

• Must be ship ready
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrician on board a vessel
• Valid STCW certification and seafarer's medical certificate
• Knowledge of electrical systems and equipment used on ships
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in the maritime industry
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Flexibility to work long hours and be on call as needed
