Service Technician, Northern Suburbs , Cape Town

Are you a hands‑on problem‑solver with a knack for electrical systems, instrumentation, and all things boiler‑related? We're looking for a Service Technician to join our high‑performing Business Unit. Reporting to the Service Manager, this dynamic role offers opportunities for travel, technical growth, and meaningful client interaction locally and abroad.

• Qualifications:
  • N3 Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation.
  • Trade Test in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or Millwright.
  • Valid, unendorsed drivers license.
  • SAGA Membership is a plus!
• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years technical experience in electrical, instrumentation or millwright work.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Inverter Drives and PLCs
    • MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Reading schematics and using technical documentation

• Install and repair electrical systems and instrumentation for industrial boilers.
• Interpret technical drawings and codes to guide accurate installations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and upgrade VSD/VFD systems and related instrumentation.
• Prepare detailed reports, service logs, and material estimates.
• Provide on‑site support, generate leads, and represent the company with professionalism.
• Perform physically demanding tasks with the use of specialized tools and safety gear.
