Facility Security Manager – Middle East & Africa
Join the NCR Atleos team as the Facility Security Manager for the Middle East & Africa region. This role safeguards employees, assets and facilities across the entire region while fostering a proactive security culture.
Key Responsibilities- Facility Safety and Security – oversee access control systems, CCTV, intrusion detection and alarm systems, conduct audits, maintain logs and track maintenance schedules.
- Risk Assessment and Management – perform regular risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, stay updated on emerging threats, create and update SOPs and emergency response guidelines, ensure regulatory compliance.
- Incident Monitoring and Response – monitor systems for anomalies, coordinate incident response, prepare detailed incident reports, maintain emergency preparedness protocols and liaise with emergency responders.
- Collaboration and Coordination – recruit, train and schedule security staff, conduct performance reviews, foster a culture of safety, work with HR, GRE and Site Leaders, liaise with external vendors and local law enforcement.
- Education – Academic Grade 12;
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or equivalent. - Experience – More than 5 years in building security, security operations, risk assessments and incident response; hands‑on experience with enterprise‑level security systems and vendor management.
- Certifications – PSIRA, CPP, PSP or CSMP advantageous.
- Technical Skills – Knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarm systems and latest security technologies.
- Teamwork – Experience managing projects, interacting with stakeholders and coordinating with other departments.
- Communication – Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem‑Solving – Ability to assess situations and make informed decisions during security incidents.
- Compliance – Understanding of relevant laws, regulations and industry standards.
- Driving License – Current and full driving license (No endorsement) Code 8/10.
- Travel – Willingness to travel extensively across Middle East and Africa.
- Timely delivery of day‑to‑day requirements, e.g., access cards.
- Auditing of building security in line with published standards.
- Peer feedback from all departments and business units.
- Continuous process improvement delivering efficiencies.
