What You’ll Do- Outbound prospecting:
Identify and research new schools and organisations that could benefit from Karri. - New business outreach:
Engage decision-makers (principals, bursars, finance managers, school administrators) via phone, email, and Linked In. - Lead qualification:
Understand prospect needs and assess fit before progressing opportunities. - Follow-ups:
Manage and nurture inbound leads and re-engage past prospects. - Pipeline support:
Work closely with the Head of Growth to book and prepare qualified meetings. - CRM management:
Accurately log all calls, emails, notes, and pipeline stages in Hub Spot. - Sales collaboration:
Share feedback from the market to help refine messaging, targeting, and campaigns.
- Confident, professional communication skills (especially on the phone).
- A target-driven mindset with resilience and consistency in outbound sales.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career in sales.
- Comfortable using sales tools (CRM systems like Hub Spot, Linked In, email tools).
- 2–3 years of relevant work experience (sales, business development, or customer-facing roles).
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, in-office environment.
- Previous outbound sales, call centre, or prospecting experience.
- Exposure to fintech, education, SaaS, or technology sales.
- Experience selling to schools, institutions, or B2B clients.
- Hands-on training and mentorship directly from the Head of Growth.
- Clear exposure to the full sales process in a growing fintech company.
- Strong performance support, coaching, and structured targets.
