the purpose of theconcept to consumer (ctc) teamis to developprofitable,locally-relevantproduct ranges by categorytobest meet the needs of the local consumers.
for this role specifically:
- deliver agloballyalignedandlocally relevantproductrange for ems, focusing on delivering the companysalesgrowthaspirationsper sales channel
- sustainably grow profitability and market sharefor eachsport within the specialist sports (spsp) category/ business unit.
- supportline manager in building the seasonal go-to-market (gtm) process for spspto buildtheoptimalproduct offering,considering theuniquelocalconsumer and channel requirements.
- be the product expertfor spsp,and provide the relevant support for all marketing gtm plans
- deliver acompelling range/concept selection foremsby balancinglocalconsumer,global brand and commercial considerations and supporting the overall business strategy of the channels.
- supportgtmprocessto engage channels and customers and collaboratively build the strongestviableproduct mix.
- deliver net sales and profitability (gim) by managing pricing, margin,and theproductmix.
- ownership of product demandforecasting,which most accurately reflects the customer and consumer demand in the market.
- seasonal analysis of marketplace to understand trends, competitor productassortmentsand pricing.
- proactively driveclusterrange enhancementsthatmeet local needs andreflect differentiation in marketplace where required. Work closely with thespsphubteam to deliver these.
- owntherange architecture for the clusterconsideringrange guidance,brandfocusand local pricing requirements.
- monitor andmaintainthe accuracy of product dataintegrityavailable to the businessvia the pricing matrix.
- conductmonthlyanalysis of sell-through performance, sell out,ofthe relevantsport within spspcategoriesandadjustthe range where necessary.
- support seasonalbrand activationsbyaligning with ba/omni team on marketing plans;communication tools;activation tools;and providingsports marketing supportto ensure our partners get access to the best of adidas.

- intermediate to advanced skills in ms office- excel &powerpointkey
- structured, organised and process-orientated
- ability to work effectively within a team environment under pressure
- university degree
- 5+yearsbuying/fmcg experience
- industry: preferably in sport retail or brand
- exposure: retail/fmcg/sport
