About the RoleAs a Retention Sales Agent, you will be responsible for engaging with potential and existing clients across multiple communication channels, including telephone, email, chat and online platforms. The role is focused on retaining customers, maximising revenue and building strong, long-term client relationships through confident, consultative selling.
Requirements and ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales revenue targets and KPIs set by the business
- Contact potential and existing clients to promote products and services
- Build, maintain and grow strong customer relationships
- Anticipate client needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Negotiate confidently with prospective clients
- Obtain payments and manage outstanding customer fees
- Answer customer queries accurately and professionally
- Promote ancillary products transparently, clearly explaining their value
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products and services
- Follow company processes, procedures and protocols at all times
- Manage time effectively while maintaining high talk time and productivity
- Transfer clients to relevant departments when required (e.g. cancellations or escalations)
- Deliver consistently high levels of customer service to improve customer satisfaction
Skills and Experience
Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven sales experience
- Experience working US campaigns within the call centre industry
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills
- Confident and professional approach to clients
- Highly motivated, self-driven and target-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Strong resilience and ability to perform in a competitive, high-pressure environment
- A bias for action with a strong “never quit” attitude
