KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
It is the Area Manager's responsibility to embrace and be an active player in all company initiatives. To be successful, the Area Manager must strategically plan and organise their work schedule on a continual basis. This will include and is not limited to:
• Achieving sales budget in the relevant area as per KPI’s.
• Store visits based on business needs.
• Maintaining the “STAY GOLD” standards across the brand.
• Reviewing and monitoring rosters with cost efficiency in mind.
• Review and maintain salary expenses in the area, as well as all operating expenses.
• Maintain shrinkage budgets as outlined in stock loss policies amended from time to time.
• Ensuring impeccable visual merchandising execution.
• Brand building through creative initiatives.
• Mitigate risk in stores.
• Upholding the policies and procedures.
Requirements• Matric
• Sufficient experience in the retail store space.
RequirementsMarketing experience, ideally within premium retail or lifestyle brands. Strong understanding of premium positioning, brand storytelling and customer psychology. Exceptional communication, planning and stakeholder management skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and convert it into strategy. Confidence operating in a fast-paced environment where clarity, taste and decision making matter.
