FMCG Retail Merchandising Manager – Marconi Beam, Cape Town – R40 000 depending on experience

Start Date: 01 March 2026

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Retail Merchandising Manager with strong FMCG exposure to join our team. This is a dynamic, field-driven role suited to someone who understands that retail never sleeps and thrives beyond the desk.

Key Requirements

• 3–5 years experience in retail or retail merchandising within FMCG
• Proven experience working with major retailers such as Pick n Pay, Checkers, SPAR, and Makro
• Strong understanding of the Food & Beverage category in retail
• Own reliable vehicle with valid insurance and full service history
• Willingness to travel nationally
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel and MS Word
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• People-focused and relationship driven
• Ability to manage staff and external merchandising companies, both on the ground and at executive level
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
• References required
• Stable personal circumstances enabling consistent travel and performance
