Butchery Manager at PnP

Role Summary

The Butchery Manager is responsible for the leadership and supervision of the Butchery department within a PnP Corporate store. This function includes the planning, organising, directing, motivating, controlling and providing practical operational support in the running of the Butchery in order to achieve the Butchery Division and the Pick n Pay's objectives. To assist in preparing products, meat cutting and manufacturing in accordance with the specifications, as well as assisting in all admin functions and staff supervision.

• Minimum of 5 Years Butchery Experience
• Matric / Grade 12

• Deliver excellent customer service
• Prepare products by adhering to guidelines
• Adhere to butchery merchandising flow
• Manage and ensure adherence to hygiene and housekeeping guidelines
• Ensure all butchery administration is accurately processed
• Ensure product is available to promote sales and the achievement of budget
• Lead, monitor and coach direct reports and ensure effective management and utilisation of employees
