Overview

Takealot Group, South Africa’s leading online retail/delivery organisation, is looking for a highly talented Retail Graduate to join our  Retail team. We are a young, dynamic, hyper‑growth company seeking smart, creative, hard‑working people with integrity.

• Supporting the division in all administrative functions linked to order processing and buying plans.
• Auditing availability, selection and pricing of market best‑sellers and new releases on the site.
• Supporting merchandising checks: checking customer reviews, links and newsletters.
• Managing customer queries and escalating as necessary.

• Degree in Marketing, Retail Management, Bcom, Fashion or related field.
• Strong written communication – clear, persuasive writing for various audiences.
• Strong presentation skills – pitching ideas and presenting campaign results.
• Project management – coordinating campaigns, timelines and team members.
• Negotiation – working with vendors, influencers and media partners.
• Relationship building – networking and maintaining client/partner relationships.
• Cultural sensitivity – understanding diverse markets and inclusive marketing.
• Adaptability – keeping up with rapidly changing digital landscape.
