Chef Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

• Leading the daily kitchen operation to deliver high-quality meals and service
• Designing menus that balance creativity, nutrition, and cost-effectiveness
• Managing stock, suppliers, and ordering to maintain excellent standards and budget control
• Coaching, supporting, and developing a motivated kitchen team
• Ensuring full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company policies
• Building great relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues

• Proven experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or similar leadership role
• A passion for fresh, flavourful food and a strong eye for presentation
• Confidence managing budgets, stock, and rotas
• Excellent people skills—calm under pressure and able to inspire a team
• Strong knowledge of allergens, food safety, and kitchen compliance
• A commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience

• Matric
• Relevant Degree/Diploma or Certificate
• Own motor vehicle
