We have an exciting, in-office job opportunity for a Senior Account Manager at a fabulous integrated creative agency based in Cape Town’s northern suburbs. As a link between clients and the agency, you will be responsible for the coordination of advertising campaigns and communicating clearly to all those involved. You should be comfortable working through-the-line. The Account Manager must understand their clients’ needs and objectives and liaise closely with them throughout campaigns, often on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will be tasked with managing administrative and campaign work and ensuring that advertising projects are completed on time and within budget. Super opportunity – apply today!
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain professional relationships with Clients/ Potential Clients by meeting and identifying their advertising requirementsLiaise with the different business units within the company to devise advertising campaigns that meets the clients briefCo-ordinate Advertising Campaigns and communicate clearly to all involvedCo-ordinate the production process with in-house teamsMake sure work is completed on time and within BudgetGenerate fresh, saleable ideasContribute to the writing of insightful, single-minded briefsTake and write comprehensive briefsAdvise on, liaise with and action the client’s ongoing marketing and advertising requirementsManage the effective coordination and administration of a share of the business/ campaignsPrepare relevant reports and job briefs/ amendmentsOrganise regular internal and external client meetingsAssist with budget control across all accountsAssist with compiling client competitor information and activityWork with the creative and strategy teams to produce presentation materialAssist with conference/ Events/ Expo/ Sponsorship requirementsDeliver POS / Ticketing campaignsCoordinate weekly TV ProductionExecute ad-hoc jobs, as and when required.Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
Certificate/Diploma/BA Degree specialising in Sales and/or Marketing or a related field5 years proven experience in client service, or in similar level sales/customer service roleAgency experience is a mustAble to work through-the-lineRetail experienceKnowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principlesOutstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software is a plusExcellent written and oral communication/presentation skills, in at least English and AfrikaansAbility to build strong and mutually rewarding professional relationshipsStrong organisational and time-management skillsA strong business acumenEnthusiastic and passionateStrong sales and customer service skillsKnowledge of the latest advertising and marketing trendsProficiency with numbers, budgets, and time managementAbility to present ideas, negotiate and problem solveOwn transport is essential.Should you not receive a response within 10 days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
