Job Purpose

• To assist the Operator with the running of the machines to produce according to given specifications and to the required level of quality and accuracy of width whilst maintaining a defined running speed.

Key Performance Areas/Duties:

• Assisting the Operator and follow instructions given by the Operator.
• Report any defective or malfunctioning equipment to the Operator
• Ensure that personal hygiene and quality standards are adhered to at all times in the production area as laid down in the Liqui Bbox guide.
• Comply with Health and Safety rules at all times.
  
  E.g. keep the safety chains closed, no running around the machine, keep the area clean at all times, wearing PPE every shift, etc. ·
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date housekeeping records.
• Participate with the implementation and verification of the effectiveness and compliance to of the relevant elements of the BRC IOP.
• Ensure Operations Procedures and/or other communications from Management are adhered to at all times.
• Conduct and complete housekeeping activities (daily, weekly, monthly or annually) according to BRC IoP requirements in your department.
• To carry out other reasonable and lawful assignments as requested by Management.

• Operate and work with colleagues as a team following Liquibox’s values and ways of working.

Skills required
:

• Good communication skills.

• Technical / mechanical aptitude is critical.

• Grade 12
• Tertiary education in the electrical or mechanical field an advantage
