Our client, a growing company, is seeking a young candidate to join its team.

Cape Town, Macassar

• Minimum N6 Mechanical qualification
• Relevant trade test qualification
• Minimum of 1 - 3 years’ working experience in site installations, manufacturing & assembly.
• Strong basic technical and engineering abilities.
• Proven manufacturing skills, troubleshooting abilities and engineering knowledge.
• Demonstrate leadership through effective interaction and communication with clients, peers and members of supervisory and management levels.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Must be physically fit and able to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Sound understanding of an array of tools and technical equipment.
• Proficiency with both hand tools and machine tools is fundamental to the role.
• Microsoft Office Intermediate
• Valid and unendorsed Code 08 driver’s license

• Good communication skills – Afrikaans and English
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Strong hand-eye coordination with a mechanical aptitude.
• Enjoy practical and manual work, and be able to work in a pressurised environment
• Excellent observational skills.
• Self-motivated and meticulous attention to detail
• Proactive and excellent problem-solving skills
• Flexibility and adaptability – think on your feet.
• Deadline driven.
• Adhere to safety protocol.

R15,000 - R20,000 depending on qualifications and experience
