Milling Operator - Epping

Overall Responsibility

As the Milling Operator, you will be responsible for managing the operation and cleanliness of the milling room, milling all grains in a timeous manner for effective.

• Responsible for milling all brews within shift as per brewing recipe
• Maintain notes regarding reciepe changes and adjusments additions
• Accurate follow recipes and accurately measure all stored and used grains
• Learn and proficiently perfom testing and monitoring of milling process via plansifter calculations
• Maintain sanitation standards ,in accordance with policies ,to provide a clean and food safe working environment
• Maintain all tools/ equipment and cooperate with maintenance department on large scale maintenance performance
• Maintain documentation of variety of activities and inventories through computer or paper system
• Communicate effectively with brewers and management staff

• Apply basic hygiene and sanitation and adhere to food safety related rules and activities as per factory instructions
• Perform food safety and quality related activities as part of the FSMS and QC functions

• Matric Certificate
• Basic Skills with computer applications, include Microsoft Office, with ability to learn and use computer program

• Ability to multitask
• Able to work well with others
• Able to work under pressure
• Willing to work after hours and on intermittent weekends
• Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals
