Asset Manager

Requirements

• BSc:
  Electrical Engineering/ Engineering
• 6-10 years’ experience
• Vast experience within the renewable energy sector (REIPPP)
• Managing the companies on behalf of the shareholders, developing and executing the business plan approved by the board.
• Ensure that the company adopts and implements the Board of Director’s company strategy
• Overall monitoring of commercial and administrative construction, operations, and consultancy contracts.
• Oversee and manage the O&M contractor to ensure that maximum output and performance of the wind and solar projects are achieved at all times.
• Monitoring and ensuring that the contractor has clear operations and maintenance strategy’s, systems, tools and plans which are in line with the O&M scope of services.
• Monitor and audit maintenance activities to ensure compliance to contractual commitments.
• Liaise with and manage the various stakeholders
• Budget control
• Assess the principal risks of the company and to ensure that these risks are being monitored and managed
• Ensure compliance to environmental, health and safety regulations as per OHSA and environmental legislation
• Management and leadership experience
• Proficient in MS Office as well as MS Projects
