Assistant Chief Fire Officer - (Operations)

• Four (4) years Tertiary Diploma in Fire Technology or National Diploma in Fire Technologyaphezu
• Relevant management experience
• Eight years relevant experience commensurate with the requirements of the position, including budget preparation, management of staff and other administration functions
• Computer Literacy
• A valid driver’s): license
• No criminal record

• Manage, lead, co‑ordinate and monitor firefighting and rescue operations
• Direct and control the Key Performance Indicator’s and outcomes of personnel within the District/Section
• Manage, monitor and control budgets (capital and operating) for the District/Section
• Manage and control Occupational Health and Safety legislation within the District/Section
• Managing training and skills development and the transfer of skills and knowledge in the District/Section
• Manages the use of technology in the District/Section
