Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Management:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of consultants and administration staff to ensure high performance and a positive team dynamic. - Operational Efficiency:
Develop, implement, and improve operational systems, processes, and best practices to guarantee a seamless workflow and organizational well-being. - Systems Management & Implementation:
Oversee the transition from the current booking platform to a new cloud‑based system, managing implementation, data migration, and staff training. - Sales & Financial Oversight:
Monitor and manage sales targets, control operating expenses, and review financial data to promote profitability and provide accurate reports to the Directors. - Customer Relations:
Ensure the highest standard of customer service is consistently delivered, managing client feedback, inquiries and complaints effectively. - Rates & Supplier Management:
Manage supplier relationships and contracts, negotiating the best possible rates to add value to the business and ensure competitive pricing. - Compliance & Quality Control:
Ensure all operations adhere to internal policies and industry regulations, implementing quality control measures to minimise errors. - Reporting:
Prepare and present regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to the Company Directors.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:
A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a management or leadership role within the travel or hospitality industry is essential. - Systems Background:
Demonstrated experience with tourism reservation or booking platforms is required, with a strong background in implementing new systems or software. - Leadership:
Proven ability to lead, manage, and train a team in a demanding, fast‑paced environment. - Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and excellent problem‑solving abilities. - Attributes: A driven and focused individual, a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Someone who cares and is willing to put in the hard yards to succeed within a business that already has an extensive footprint.
