The purpose of this role is to take ownership of product data accuracy and catalogue management across multiple international platforms.

Join an expanding international e-commerce team as an early‑career professional focused on data analytics and catalogue management. City:
Cape Town (In office), Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (UK Time alignment).

The client is an expanding international e-commerce business and a fast‑scaling international technology business. They manage a diverse portfolio of global marketplaces, including Shopify, Amazon, eBay, and specialized tech platforms, to sell premium technology products to a global audience.

The Role

This foundational operational role contributes to commercial success by ensuring technology products are perfectly represented through meticulous listing administration and data integrity. The main focus areas include data management, stock synchronization, and supporting marketplace performance through analytical reporting and search optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate 1-2 years of professional experience in a data-heavy or tech environment, or apply as a tech graduate.
  • Create, upload, and maintain high-quality product listings across international platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, and eBay.
  • Ensure alignment of product titles, technical specifications, and grading descriptions to maintain data integrity.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure stock synchronization across all sales channels.
  • Identify and resolve listing errors, data gaps, or inconsistencies through proactive audits.
  • Maintain and improve structured product data templates to streamline operations.
  • Track product performance data and assist with data-driven pricing updates and promotional adjustments.
  • Support listing visibility through basic SEO best practices and contribute to internal reporting.
About You
  • University degree (Graduates encouraged).
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in a data-heavy / tech environment.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency for managing large datasets and using formulas.
  • High level of general digital proficiency and ability to learn e-commerce software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail for managing repetitive data tasks.
  • Process-driven approach with the ability to follow structured operational workflows.
  • Strong written English skills for creating accurate product descriptions.
  • Genuine passion for data analytics and a desire to build a career in a fast-scaling technology business.
