Senior Software Quality Analyst Newlands

# Senior Software Quality Analyst Remote We  are seeking an experienced Senior Software Quality Analyst with a strong focus on web application testing to ensure our digital platforms deliver exceptional performance, reliability, and user experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web technologies, test automation, and modern QA practices, as well as the ability to lead quality initiatives across multiple teams.

You will be responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test strategies for our web applications, collaborating closely with product owners, developers, and UX designers to uphold quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

What you will be doing
* reating and maintaining both manual and automated test cases
* Story testing as per the Scrum methodology
* Verification of documentation during story testing
* Contribute to release readiness by conducting regression, smoke, integration, and system testing
* Making sure the CI builds are installed and reporting when issues occur
* Release management
* Following agile development methodologies and scrum management techniques
* Database querying
* Maintenance of test and development environmentsRequirements
* 4+ years of experience in testing complex software systems, with at least 2 years focused on web application testing
* Strong SQL experience
* Web application testing experience
* Operating system and virtual machine skills
* Experience in maintaining testing environments
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Analytical and logical problem-solving skills
* Understanding of testing concepts and the role of a QA in Scrum
* Related qualification

Nice to haves
* Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs)( at least 2 years experience)
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops)
* Experience with browser debugging tools and network analysis (e.g., Chrome Dev Tools, Charles Proxy).
* Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium Web Driver, Playwright, Cypress).Does this sound like you
