DevSecOps Manager

As a Dev Sec Ops  Manager, you'll be responsible for implementing and monitoring the security of our systems. You will manage the implementation of security best practices and standards across all departments within the company, including training staff on how to keep their data secure.

Requirements

The Dev Sec Ops  Manager position requires a combination of a technologically skilled engineer and a team player who provides leadership, direction, and management of the operations of the Dev Sec Ops  Team within the IT Department. This includes collaboration with external support teams.

This position requires strong governance and policy adherence and compliance to client security standards.

The Dev Sec Ops  Manager is responsible for helping to implement and mature Dev Sec Ops  practices as well as the support of Dev Sec Ops  processes, tools, and systems.

In addition, the Dev Sec Ops  manager will support and mentor our Dev Sec Ops  team members through facilitating learning and improvement, to ensure the team’s high performance.

The Dev Sec Ops  manager will partake in audits and provide the required information timeously and proactively.

Operational and Management reporting is a key function of this role.

Qualifications

4+ years working experience in technology-focused areas of Information Technology in the same or a similar role

Experience with Azure, Azure hosting, and Azure Dev Sec Ops  tools

Experience managing demand and development work

Experience in Oracle products

Experience in secure development practices

A BSC Computer Science, BCom Business information systems, or a high-quality Technikon diploma.

Dev Ops credentials will be highly beneficial.
